About This Conference

Geographic Solutions' annual Workforce Technology Conference is the premier learning and networking conference bringing together a community of workforce development professionals, unemployment compensation specialists, education and career advisors, program managers, youth specialists, reentry employment leaders, rehabilitation specialists, and more! This year’s conference, focused on the intricacies of employment, will be held June 23-26, 2025, in sunny Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Ahead of many software-as-a-service trends, we revealed VOS Sapphire AI in 2024. This not only continued the theme of VOS Sapphire as one system that can seamlessly manage it all – labor exchange, case management, unemployment, vocational rehabilitation, human services, partner programs, education services, and corrections – but further defined it as 'the more intelligent way to work'. And this year we are taking things even further...by charting the course for innovation!

What's on the Schedule

Derrick Brooks was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. He grew up with many challenges yet reached past all his struggles and became a first-round NFL draft pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1995. This began his 14-year, hall of fame career.

In his career, he pushed himself. He recorded 2,198 tackles which is the most in franchise history. He often proved that defense could turn the tide of a game by scoring 8 defensive touchdowns, the second most in Buccaneers history. Fourteen seasons, 25 interceptions, 6 All-Pro selections and 11 Pro Bowls earned him induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in February 2014 and the Capital One Academic All-America Hall of Fame in August 2014.

In his career, he pushed himself. He recorded 2,198 tackles which is the most in franchise history. Prior to playing for the Buccaneers, Derrick attended Florida State University where he excelled, not only as an athlete, but most importantly as a student. He earned his bachelor’s degree and after being drafted by the Buccaneers, went back to FSU and earned his master’s degree in business communications. Derrick’s passion for education and inspiring young people led him to begin his charitable work in the community.

He is recognized more often for his hard work in the community than he was for his hard work on the football field. Derrick recognizes that life itself is a team game, perhaps the ultimate team game. And this is why his community efforts are so imperative to him. Derrick Brooks Charities works primarily in the Tampa Bay community to provide youth with educational programs and opportunities to develop a cultural and social vision.

The mission of Derrick Brooks Charities is to provide educational opportunities for socio-economically challenged youth that will instill, inspire, broaden and develop cultural and social vision outside of the walls in which they live, to ensure that they have every chance to develop into the strong, productive leaders of tomorrow.
