PALM HARBOR, Fla. – (March 1, 2021) – Geographic Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of software solutions for workforce development, unemployment processing and labor market information, has named Mitchell Dimler as its Director of Data Services. He brings more than 30 years of business, strategic and tactical experience in high-tech markets to the company.
“Mitch will lead our efforts to create data-driven solutions to tackle customer pain-points,” said Paul Toomey, president and founder of Geographic Solutions. “His collaboration with our sales, technology and business teams will accelerate our ability to move from concept to delivery of IT solutions that create value for our clients.”
Prior to joining Geographic Solutions, Dimler worked at global companies such as DirecTV and Phoenix Technologies Inc. As vice president of architecture and technology at TransAmerica Corp., Dimler was instrumental in its merger with Aegon Corp. He was also chief information officer at InSilicon, a startup that went public in 2001 and was later acquired by Synopsys.
Dimler holds six patents and has worked for venture capital firms to deploy and structure technology for newly formed and mid-level corporations. Most recently, he served as information technology director at HealthAxis Group in Tampa, Florida. Before that, he created and deployed a strategic plan to strengthen the information technology department at Argus, a Tampa-based health service organization.

Dimler earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from MidAmerica Nazarene University, as well as an associate degree from Johnson County Community College. Both institutions are in Olathe, Kansas.
