PALM HARBOR, FL – (October 10, 2022) – After two years of virtual conferences, Geographic Solutions recently welcomed workforce development, unemployment insurance, labor market information, human services, and education professionals in person to the 2022 Workforce Technology Conference in Clearwater Beach, Florida. This year’s record-breaking attendance totaled close to 300 attendees, representing 38 states and 109 distinct agencies. In addition to the regular conference schedule, a group of 96 attendees participated in pre-conference training on new features, reporting, and labor market tools in VOS Sapphire.
The 2022 conference marked the largest in terms of attendance – bringing professionals from all across the country and beyond, including as far as Ireland and the Northern Mariana Islands. The 2022 conference agenda featured a variety of general sessions, panel discussions, and at times, up to six breakout tracks at once.
Industry leaders and Geographic Solutions subject matter experts presented on a variety of topics, with a focus on the integration of federal workforce programs. Session topics included unemployment insurance, labor market data, case management, student career solutions, legislative updates, no-touch solutions, reentry employment initiatives, federal reporting, best practices, and more.
In addition, attendees had the chance to network with state and local agencies from around the country, as well as participate in real-time voting and roundtable discussions on the future of the Geographic Solutions' product line. The 2022 conference also welcomed back popular emcee, Rusty Kath, for the fifth year and featured CEO of The Center of Work Ethic Development, Josh Davies, who delivered an inspiring keynote address on embracing change and building a successful workforce.
