PALM HARBOR, FL (January 23, 2020) - Geographic Solutions is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Richard Boone, the organization's new Business Development Executive for Corrections. Boone brings a wealth of experience to the company's Marketing Department, including over 19 years of sales management and client relations experience, with a strong focus on state and local government agencies and federal programs.
Prior to joining Geographic Solutions, Boone built relationships in the corrections industry and led effective efforts in marketing victim notification services to state law enforcement agencies. In addition, he spent several years collaborating with state workforce agencies and offering solutions that improve improper payments by identifying and preventing overpayments in workforce programs.
At Geographic Solutions, Boone will be responsible for marketing the company's Virtual OneStop Reentry Employment Opportunities (VOS REO) solution to public and private agencies in the corrections industry. The VOS REO solution provides agencies with job search tools and related career services to help justice-involved individuals find employment and transition back to the community successfully.
"Helping our partner agencies reduce recidivism benefits everyone," says Boone. "I'm truly looking forward to being a part of a great company that does such meaningful and rewarding work." Geographic Solutions is excited to welcome Boone to the team, and is committed to supporting reentry initiatives across the country.
