The Nashville Career Advancement Center wanted an Internet solution that contained advanced employer and job seeker services. The Nashville VOS will increase tracking and performance abilities and improve information sharing among partners.
In Virginia, the Region 2000 Workforce Investment Board needed an easy to use Web-based system that was available to job seekers and employers. The Region 2000 area encompasses the Lynchburg, Bedford, Amherst, and Campbell counties. Virtual OneStop 5.1 will provide innovative tools for tracking jobs and making it easier for employers to hire and retain individuals. It will also meet Workforce Investment Act (WIA) requirements, and offer online services in Spanish and for the visually impaired. The system will be implemented by December 2002.
Joining our growing list of California clients is Santa Cruz County. The Human Resource Agency of Santa Cruz County wanted to provide online services to customers and track the services offered. The Virtual OneStop 5.1 along with VOScan, a tracking system utilizing scan cards, will help Santa Cruz simplify internal staff processes, improve client tracking, and reach more customers overall. The enhanced VOS system is scheduled for implementation next spring.
